Evidence For Mediumship

Evidence For Mediumship

1.

Cross-Cultural Consistency

Mediumship and after-death communication appear in almost every culture: shamans, spirit guides, ancestral rituals, séances, and psychic mediums.

The universality suggests a deep human connection to the idea of communication beyond death.

  1. Verifiable Information

Some mediums report names, dates, causes of death, or highly specific details that they could not have known.

Studies conducted by organizations like the Windbridge Research Center tested mediums under “blind” conditions (no contact with sitters, given only coded numbers). Some still produced accurate, detailed information about the deceased.

Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) & Shared Death Experiences

  • Thousands of documented cases describe people meeting deceased loved ones during an NDE, often reporting consistent afterlife imagery.

  • Shared death experiences (where a living person “feels” or “sees” a loved one crossing over) also lend anecdotal weight. I have met so many people who have had near death experiences, including family, and very close friends.

Healing & Transformational Impact

💜

  • Sitters often experience profound emotional healing, closure, or a shift in their fear of death.

  • This psychological and spiritual benefit, for many, is a strong form of validation.

  • Evidence Against Mediumship

1.

Cold Reading & Psychology

  • Cold reading (making broad statements that apply to most people: “I see an older male with chest issues”).

Barnum effect (people accept vague, general statements as personally meaningful).

to prove my point about what is real and what is not you don’t accept general or vague statements in a reading to prove continuity of life what you do is listen to what that person has to say to you, but it must be specific.

It can come in a name it can come in an event. It can come in a situation that is going on around you, but a true medium would be able to know be able to present that to you so that you understand what is going on and you understand that you are connecting so please keep that in mind that is how you can tell if a Medium is being genuine or not.

One thing you can keep in mind is to maybe have friends or family who have Someone in particular who has experienced a session in this way, they can come as a referral. Sadly Mediumship comes under such scrutiny but for good reason. There are too many people that wish to take advantage of people that are grieving.

Grief is powerful but so is connecting with those on the other side.

Hugs,

Michelle
