Life is short .. Love hard

Life really is short. Before you blink your children are adults with their own lives and partners.

People come and go, some pass. Our memory fades and you wonder where the time went.

You look back and pictures wondering how it was years ago but feels like a week ago. The days fly by. I try not to count but we’re almost in May now.

The young girl I once was is showing wrinkles and some grey. I look in the mirror and see someone that looks nothing like she did ten years ago. It scares me a bit.

I see my parents aging and yet I remember when I thought they were so old at 40! Life will fly by.

I miss my childhood. Life was easy back then all I had to do was go to school and play with my friends.

We will all be here for a short time. Some shorter some longer. Each day we have a chance to make it a good day and leave goodness behind.

People do not remember the money we had, the clothes we wore, etc. they remember how we made them feel.

I remember my loved ones with fondness and laughter. I remember valuable advice given and special moments.

leave goodness behind in all you do. Remember to be kind and gentle. Be humble.

Leave memories that fill those you love with years of happy things to talk about. That’s how we live through the generations.

Be happy, forgiving, generous with your time as best as you can. People need to feel wanted and loved. You’d be amazed how far a card coup go or a simple phone call.

Life is too short to let it pass us by.
