Psychics Are Not God: The Painter I Didn’t See Coming

There’s something people don’t always understand about being intuitive.

They think we see everything.

They think we walk into a room and instantly know every outcome, every intention, every hidden truth.

That nothing gets past us.

And I understand why people believe that.

Because sometimes… we are incredibly accurate.

But here’s the truth no one talks about:

Psychics are not God.

The Painter Who Taught Me a Lesson

I hired someone to work on my home.

A painter.

At first, everything seemed fine. Normal.

There were no loud alarms. No overwhelming red flags. Nothing screaming, “Run.”

If anything, I felt neutral. Open. Trusting.

And then slowly… things started to unravel.

The work wasn’t right.

Details were sloppy.

Promises didn’t match reality.

It’s been a huge mess!

That sinking feeling crept in—the one we all know too well.

The “something is off” feeling.

But by then, I was already in it.

But You’re Psychic… How Didn’t You Know?”

That question lingers, doesn’t it?

And here’s my answer:

Because intuition doesn’t override free will.

Because being intuitive doesn’t mean living in a constant state of hyper-vigilance.

Because sometimes, we choose to trust.

And sometimes…

We are meant to experience things, not avoid them.

Intuition Isn’t Control

This is where people misunderstand intuitive ability the most.

Intuition is not a superpower that shields you from every mistake.

It’s not a force field.

It’s not control.

It’s guidance. and guidance is subtle.

It whispers.

It nudges.

It waits for you to be still enough to hear it.

But when you’re busy… hopeful… human…

You can miss the whisper.

Even Psychics Are Human

I don’t walk around scanning every person like a lie detector.

I don’t interrogate every situation energetically before I make a move.

Why?

Because I’m living a life.

Because I trust.

Because I believe in giving people a chance.

And because constantly “reading” everything is not living—it’s surviving.

The Lesson Wasn’t About the Painter

Looking back, I don’t believe I “missed” something.

I believe I experienced something.

This situation reminded me of a few powerful truths:

Discernment matters just as much as intuition

Not every lesson is meant to be avoided

Trusting people is not a weakness

Even intuitive people grow through real-life experiences

And most importantly:

For Anyone Who Feels Like They “Should Have Known”

This isn’t just about me.

This is for you too.

The times you trusted someone and it didn’t work out…

The times you ignored a feeling…

The times you look back and think, “I should have known better.”

Let me tell you something gently:

You didn’t fail. You lived.

Final Truth

I am intuitive.

I am experienced.

I am deeply connected.

And still…

I am human. So are you!

Psychics are not here to be flawless.

We are here to guide, to feel, to learn, and to walk this life just like everyone else.

Sometimes with clarity.

Sometimes with lessons.

Being intuitive doesn’t mean being perfect.

With love,

Michelle
