Psychics Are Not God: The Painter I Didn’t See Coming

Updated: Apr 9

# Understanding Intuition: A Journey Through Experience

## The Reality of Being Intuitive

There’s something people often misunderstand about being intuitive. They think we see everything. They believe we walk into a room and instantly know every outcome, every intention, every hidden truth. It’s as if nothing escapes our notice.

I get why people hold this belief. Sometimes, we are incredibly accurate. But here’s the truth no one talks about: psychics are not God.

## The Painter Who Taught Me a Lesson

Let me share a story. I hired someone to work on my home—a painter. At first, everything seemed fine. It felt normal. There were no loud alarms, no overwhelming red flags. Nothing screamed, “Run.” If anything, I felt neutral, open, and trusting.

But then, slowly, things started to unravel. The work wasn’t right. Details were sloppy. Promises didn’t match reality. It turned into a huge mess! That sinking feeling crept in—the one we all know too well. The “something is off” feeling.

But by then, I was already in it.

## “But You’re Psychic… How Didn’t You Know?”

That question lingers, doesn’t it? Here’s my answer: intuition doesn’t override free will. Being intuitive doesn’t mean living in a constant state of hyper-vigilance. Sometimes, we choose to trust. And sometimes, we are meant to experience things, not avoid them.

## Intuition Isn’t Control

This is where people misunderstand intuitive ability the most. Intuition is not a superpower that shields you from every mistake. It’s not a force field. It’s not control. It’s guidance, and guidance is subtle.

It whispers. It nudges. It waits for you to be still enough to hear it. But when you’re busy, hopeful, and human, you can miss the whisper.

## Even Psychics Are Human

I don’t walk around scanning every person like a lie detector. I don’t interrogate every situation energetically before I make a move. Why? Because I’m living a life. I trust. I believe in giving people a chance. Constantly “reading” everything isn’t living—it’s surviving.

## The Lesson Wasn’t About the Painter

Looking back, I don’t believe I “missed” something. I believe I experienced something. This situation reminded me of a few powerful truths:

  • Discernment matters just as much as intuition.

  • Not every lesson is meant to be avoided.

  • Trusting people is not a weakness.

  • Even intuitive people grow through real-life experiences.

## For Anyone Who Feels Like They “Should Have Known”

This isn’t just about me. This is for you too. The times you trusted someone and it didn’t work out. The times you ignored a feeling. The moments you look back and think, “I should have known better.”

Let me tell you something gently: you didn’t fail. You lived.

## Final Truth

I am intuitive. I am experienced. I am deeply connected. And still… I am human. So are you!

Psychics are not here to be flawless. We are here to guide, to feel, to learn, and to walk this life just like everyone else. Sometimes with clarity. Sometimes with lessons.

Being intuitive doesn’t mean being perfect.

## Embracing Your Intuition

As we navigate through life, it’s essential to embrace our intuitive abilities. They can serve as a compass, guiding us through the complexities of our experiences.

Intuition is a beautiful gift. It can help us make decisions, connect with others, and understand ourselves on a deeper level. But remember, it’s not about being right all the time. It’s about learning and growing.

## Trusting the Process

Trusting the process can be challenging. We often want immediate answers and clarity. But life doesn’t always work that way. Sometimes, we must sit with uncertainty and allow our intuition to unfold naturally.

When we trust the process, we open ourselves to new experiences. We learn to appreciate the journey, even when it’s messy.

## The Power of Reflection

Reflecting on our experiences is vital. It allows us to understand our choices and the lessons they bring. When we take time to reflect, we can see how our intuition guided us, even when we didn’t realize it.

Ask yourself: What have I learned from my experiences? How has my intuition played a role in my journey?

## Moving Forward with Intuition

As we move forward, let’s commit to honoring our intuition. Let’s recognize that it’s a part of our human experience.

We may not always have the answers, but we can trust ourselves to navigate through life’s challenges. Embrace your intuition, and let it guide you toward growth and connection.

With love,

Michelle
